What are the current restrictions for traveling to Hawaii?
Fully vaccinated individual may enter Hawaii on domestic flights without pre-travel testing / quarantine starting the 15th day after the completion of vaccination. All other travelers must have their negative test results from a Trusted Testing and Travel Partner(link is external) prior to departing as an alternative to Hawaii’s mandatory 10-day quarantine.
Register with the State of Hawaii Safe Travels(link is external) online system as is currently required of all trans-pacific passengers. Pre-travel testing is an alternative to the state’s mandatory 10-day self-quarantine. Travelers may elect to take a pre-travel COVID-19 NAAT from a state of Hawaii Trusted Testing and Travel Partner(link is external) within 72 hours of departing on the last leg of their trip to Hawaii. To avoid the state’s mandatory 10-day self-quarantine, the negative test result from that test must be uploaded prior to departure of the last leg. What are the current meeting guidelines per the Sheraton Waikiki Hotel?
The Sheraton Waikiki has the current restrictions in place per the Oahu Safe Stay Plan for indoor meetings:
Vaccinated guests only with proof of vaccination card
Masks worn indoors at the meeting by attendees
Temperature checks and social distancing in the room are required
One door for entry / one door for exit policy
No food or beverage with the exception of water may be served and in the meeting room
All breakfasts will be served outdoors on the Rum Fire patio
Happy hour will be outdoors at “The Edge”
50% capacity in the meeting room to allow for social distancing

Can I still go to Hawaii and watch virtual?
Yes, if you would like to travel to Hawaii but still watch the conference virtual from a different location (on-or-off site) you are welcome to do so. The hotel block is available to all participants and their guests. In addition to, if you are attending in-person and feel the need to watch it from your room on one-day, you will have access to the live virtual stream.
